Believe it or not there are pockets of ride able snow all winter long in our land of eternal sunshine. Between the months of June and August the Southern African snowboarding scene busts out! The two places you are guaranteed to find snow are Tiffindell in the Eastern Cape and Afriski in the Maluti’s. If you are the typical weekend warrior or beginner you may find the board you are looking for at one of the three local board shops.
