The NCNK is a group within Mercy Corps International that advances, promotes and facilitates engagement between citizens of the United States and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. It works to reduce tensions and promote peace on the Korean Peninsula and improve the well being of the citizens of the DPRK. The NCNK required a custom content model be implemented to help it self-manage the wealth of publications, news releases and other resources related to NCNK activities and discussions, as well as custom search functionality to help visitors find this information. In addition, the member directory and profiles on the site are highly customized, as is the simple site skin.
