Expertendatabank contains contact details and expertise profiles of more than 1000 professional women, ethnic minorities and persons with disabilities in a variety of matters. Female, transgender, immigrant and disabled specialists are well represented in our society, but not yet in the media. The expertendatabank wants to increase their visibility in the media and wants to break the stereotype image. Access to Expertendatabank is reserved for journalists and media players. The data from Expertendatabank may only be used for journalistic purposes: creating programs, writing articles or for the gathering of background information. Expertendatabank is an initiative of Flemish Minister of Equal Opportunities Kathleen Van Brempt.
