The Center for Literacy, Reading and Writing (Ceale) is part of the College of Education, at the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG). It was founded in 1990 so as to bring together inter-institutional groups involved in research, educational action and documentation in the field of literacy and the teaching of mother tongue.
