WALIS - Western Australian Land Information System (Australia )

WALIS is a dynamic partnership of government agencies across Australia working with business, education and the general community to manage and promote Western Australia’s geographic information. WALIS also provides the framework that enables co-ordination of the State’s geographic information, and establishes policies and standards that ensure the effective management of this vast collective resource. Unified have worked with WALIS in delivering Plone based systems and solutions for their internal and external web systems. Unified have provided design, development, implementation, training and ongoing support services to WALIS.

WALIS Forum (Australia )

WALIS Forum is one of the premier international GIS events in Australia, attracting over 800 delegates from a diverse range of professions. Held every 18 months, the Forum provides an opportunity to address issues related to the all aspects of location-based information. The Forum was established in 1984 and has developed into one of the largest and most well known geographic information events in Australia. It now draws over 800 local, national and international delegates who are involved in the use of geographic information from a variety of sectors including state and local government, the private sector, academia and the community.
