We specialize in developing innovative solutions using advanced Open Source technologies. We offer development, mentoring, and training services in the world of Zope/Plone and Asterisk.

While 7 Tech Northwest has the capabilities of developing and supporting solutions in a wide range of technologies, we prefer to specialize in a small subset of best-of-breed technologies that we have identified over the years. Our main technologies of choice include Zope, Plone, and Asterisk.

Services

Zope/Plone Development

We work on projects of all sizes, scopes and complexities with an emphasis on best practices and re-usability. We can build simple custom products or skins based on a well defined spec, or just a simple need. We can help you nail down the solution to a problem and an information architecture that will help insure that your immediate needs are met while laying the groundwork for future

Plone Mentoring

Quite by accident we have worked with many clients, often just for a few hours, to help them jump start a project. This may involve little more than an overview of UML and ArchGenXML up to and including detailed analysis of the problem space and development of a basic design/structure that they can use to start their project. This can easily be done with a group of developers in a conference room, at a local coffee shop, or online with something like GoToMeeting and Skype. Many of our clients have found this an invaluable tool to help them get momentum going on an internal project while insure that they are heading in the right direction and using best practices.

Plone Training

We provide Plone training on a variety of topics and at many levels. Trainings are offered either in a classroom environment or online using GoToWebinar. We offer standard trainings to the public, but also can offer specialized training on demand as a public sponsored event, or as a private training. For more details see: 7 Tech NW Training.

Asterisk Installation and Integration

We work with clients to deploy a new Asterisk solution either as a replacement for their existing telephony solution or as an augmentation to their system. It can be used as a complete telephone system using any combination of traditional
