Reflab designs and develops innovative web solutions, intranets and websites for international organizations since 2003, mainly in the humanitarian and social sector.
Reflab uses mainly Free Software, in particular Plone for all CMS projects as well as other powerful Python tools. Reflab also provides professional services such as consulting, training, support and hosting.

The portal camplus.it is the meeting node for the Camplus network: it is built with Plone and it provides a wide range of services to the Camplus guests: quality multimedia contents produced by the Camplus staff; college information; community tools and the new online tutorship service. Online Tutorship was specifically designed by Reflab to promote a real online interaction between Camplus Tutors and their students; web 2.0 solutions are everywhere - calendars, extended profiles, faceted navigation - aiming to improve the sense of identity and to give site members that "Plus" that makes the web experience personal.
- Cisem (Italy )
- CISEM (Centro per l’Innovazione e Sperimentazione Educativa Milano) is a centre operating in the field of educational research, focusing on high-scool education. Cisem is using Plone to manage the online presence, promote the activities of the centre and improve the information . Plone let the CISEM staff work comfortably with the site contents and share tasks between the research units; other than standars collaboration tools, there are an institutional blog, a wiki and a custom glossary. The skin, simple and pleasantly colorful, is developed by Reflab and designed by Inarea.
- Demagora (Italy )
- DEMAGORA is a Policy Management System built to facilitate decision-making processes between people in a community or group. DEMAGORA is one of the first portals developed on the Plone 3.x series, widely using Plone3 innovations. It has a web2.0 approach based on the custom Proposals system, developed by Reflab for DEMAGORA and designed with the two demagora project founders. Started up with a public beta, DEMAGORA grew up gathering a watchful community of users and testers and it is now heading for the second version
- GUT Edizioni (Italy )
- GUT Edizioni is a leading company in Italy for the distribution of products in the stationery sector. GUT manages and markets brands such as Smemoranda, Kaos, Moleskine and aims to distinguish itself by the ability to propose initiatives and products to a multi-age target. GUT Edizioni, constantly looking for innovation, has chosen Plone for its corporate website and simultaneously brought its catalog on the web. Thanks to a strong customization of the IA, GUT website allows visitors to navigate by brands and by products. It is also possible to explore the several lines of production, to see different colors and styles and to look for the authorized stationery stores. In addition to public content, there are reserved areas that allow dealers to access the updated GUT offer.
- MSF International Intranet (Spain )
- MSF International Intranet is a migration and evolution project. MSF - Medicins Sans Frontieres (Doctors Without Borders) is an humanitarian independent organization that provides medical and humanitarian help in about 63 countries around the world. The new MSF International Intranet - codename Tukul 2, is the main collaboration tool for hundreds of users in the MSF network. MSF choose Plone to migrate its Intranet to open technologies and to broaden the range of features offered to its users. Tukul 2 has been created applying user-center-design principles; it is fully coherent with the MSF brand, it has a very neat and readable interface, and it offers different styles of navigation designed around users need and behaviour. The new MSF Intranet features include a Facebook-style user directory, an intelligent usage of metadata, the innovative multilngual files management features, working spaces for open groups and various tools for information sharing and management. It also offers a "light" version for mobile devices and limited resources connections.
- Smanettona (Italy )
- Smanettona is a project of integration between multimedia, web and paper publishing, intended for the youngest generation of computer "geeks" ("smanettoni"). The project, aiming to introduce children and teens to the secrets of the computers and the web, is made of a diary, a live cd based on free software ("smanett-OS"), and the web portal Smanettona, which is the online integration and expansion of the diary. The Smanettona portal is built with Plone and it features customs workflow to allow authenticated users to safely interact and contribute to the portal contents, under the guidance of the Smanettona staff and the Smanettona characters. Developed by Reflab with Mediatria and in cooperation with the Free Software Foundation.
- Tagetik (Italy )
- Tagetik is a software company providing enterprises advanced solutions for Corporate Performance Management (CPM). Founded in a hillside town of Tuscany, Tagetik choosed Plone for its corporate website and the partner community site. Tagetik corporate website was made by Reflab with a special care to the look: site graphical implementation is totally css-based, there is a full integration with flash technologies and a thorough use of Plone portlets to improve content presentation. Tagetik community site is a collaborative intranet/extranet featuring, multilingual contents, social bookmarking, forums and tools for sharing informations between workers and partners.
- The Logistics Operational Guide (LOG) for all humanitarian logisticians (Italy )
- Reflab with the Logistic Cluster and WFP, has developed the Logistics Operational Guide (LOG) with the aim to be a single source of information on humanitarian supply chain best practices and easy access to simple tools and templates. LOG is based on Reflab product Online Offline Publication System that uses HTML and Gears technology. LOG is developed in Plone and provides management of annexes, diagrams and images, metadata, workflow and versioning of the contents.

- The Union Wallonne des Entreprises (UWE) is the Walloon Federation of business leaders and employers. It provides business information, support and services in the belgian area. The new UWE portal is built on Plone : under a clean site design it provides advanced search function, RSS aggregation and multimedia; it also features special content types to manage the UWE Bases de données, and intranet tools for the associates.
