Since 1989 Conservation Northwest has worked to connect wildlands from the Washington Coast to the BC Rockies for the benefit of wildlife and people. Twenty-three staff, spread out in four different offices around the state, combine outreach, communication, and science skills with passion and innovation to help "keep the Northwest wild."

Ecojustice Canada (Canada)

Ecojustice (formerly Sierra Legal Defence Fund) goes to court to defend the right of Canadians to a healthy environment. Ecojustice is Canada's largest and foremost non-profit environmental law organization. Their voice in the courts enables citizens to expose lawbreakers and hold governments accountable, all while setting powerful precedents for clean water, natural spaces, healthy communities and for global warming solutions.

High Country News (United States )

High Country News is an independent news organization that reports on the West's natural resources, public lands, and changing communities. HCN is read by policy makers, educators, public land managers, students, and thousands of "people who care about the West."

Oregon Wild (United States )

Oregon Wild works to protect Oregon's wildlands, wildlife and waters as an enduring legacy. Oregon Wild launched a new website as part of an overall organization rebranding effort. Their new site features a polished design, an extensive press room, online donations, photo galleries and more.

Sightline Institute (United States )

A content-rich website for a nonprofit environmental think-tank. It showcases a very polished visual design, a wide range of custom content types, members-only workflow, email newsletter integration, and full-featured blogging.

Snow Leopard Trust (United States )

Founded in 1981, Snow Leopard Trust is the largest and oldest organization working solely to protect the endangered snow leopard and its Central Asian habitat. Their website has a polished visual design, integration with a ZenCart-powered online store, and a ton of amazing photographs of snow leopards.

Washington Toxics Coalition (United States )

Washington Toxics protects public health and the environment by eliminating toxic pollution. Their new website puts a beautiful, people-centered face on an extensive collection of resources, information and publications about creating a healthier world.

Washington Trails Association (United States )

Washington Trails Association (WTA), believes hiking trails are our link to wilderness. WTA protects hiking trails and wild lands, takes volunteers out to maintain trails, and promotes hiking as a healthy, fun way to explore the outdoors.
