Netsight Internet Solutions is a UK-based web design consultancy that has traded successfully for over seven years, and one of the most experienced Zope and Plone development and consulting companies in the UK. We have worked in all sectors, from startup companies to large multinationals, public sector to education. We also own and operate our own data centre in Bristol and offer managed hosting solutions.

As well as producing award-winning design, the company has always had a highly technical focus, and owns and operates its own independent data centre, providing a solid foundation and flexibility to accommodate virtually any project, no matter what the technical requirements

We work as both a full-service agency, undertaking complete end-to-end projects, and also as a Zope and Plone consultancy providing services to organisations such as universities, government departments, and multinational companies.

Netsight also owns and operates its own colocation facility and data centre based in Bristol offering carrier neutral colocation for a wide range of companies, and houses the core of the Bristol Media EXchange network, a high speed fibre-optic network connecting up media and research companies in Bristol.

Netsight Technical Director, Matt Hamilton, was on the inaugural Plone Foundation board, and a founding member of the Zope UK Association. Netsight is also a member of ZEA Partners.

A Plone-based site built by Netsight for one of the world's leading tensile fabric architecture firms, with many innovative features and customisations.
Education: BBC / Participate Project (United Kingdom)
The Participate Project, which aims to explore convergence in pervasive, online and broadcast media to create new kinds of mass-participatory events in which a broad cross-section of the public contributes to, as well as accesses, contextual content - on the move, in public places, at school and at home.
Government: Warwickshire Police Force, UK (United Kingdom)
Netsight were selected to develop a Document and Content Management System and public Website for Warwickshire Police. Working closely with their publications department and their e-communications officer, Netsight have built a system that helps them meet their obligations under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

Innovative education research project led by the BBC. The Participate Schools website allows participating schoolchildren to effectively communicate and share their opinions and findings relating to a number of environmental science projects within a structured, teacher-controlled online environment:
Belron Intranet (United Kingdom)
Major global corporate Intranet project built on Plone, featuring many custom extensions developed by Netsight to create a completely bespoke information management system. The system gives managers and staff within the business the power to communicate and share information effectively across the globe. By aggregating and organising a large volume of vital business data, the intranet provides a wealth of functionality to assist managers in the day-to-day running of a large multinational company.
Cabot Communications (United Kingdom)
Cabot Communications provides tailored DVB middleware solutions for the digital TV industry. Cabot software and services are designed to deliver competitive advantage to digital device manufacturers by providing 'total' solutions which are tailored to meet specific needs, according to market and cost criteria.
Carglass Belux Intranet (Belgium )
A multilingual Plone intranet for Carglass, a multinational vehicle glass replacement company. Includes integration with internal HR systems.
Charles Farris (United Kingdom)
Established in the 1840s and holding 2 royal warrants, Charles Farris Ltd is one of the UK's leading providers of high quality church supplies. The site is built on top of Plone to give the content management capabilities and ease of administration that the client required. The e-commerce system was designed specifically to fit in with the Charles Farris order process, working with unique customer account codes. Other features of the system include accommodation of multiple VAT codes and shipping price bands, and a 'repeat order' function for large account holders. Intrinsic to the design of the backend system is the ability to present content from the site with different branding, to allow the company to use the same product data with different brands for other markets.
Haseltine Lake (United Kingdom)
Haseltine Lake is one of the largest independent firms of Patent and Trademark Attorneys in Europe, and has been in existence since the mid 1860s. Built on top of Plone, a central part of the site is the database of attorney profiles, detailing experience and expertise of the staff. The site also includes a number of places where Haseltine Lake's partners, attorneys and other professionals can contribute more diverse and impromptu content outside of the more usual News section.
Keble College, Oxford University (United Kingdom)
Keble College is one of the largest of the constituent colleges of the University of Oxford. Netsight designed and built a new public website for the college, which is managed by the college's IT team. The site is built on Plone, with a number of custom developed extensions.

Born out of a love of lighting and years of experience in illuminating structures, Lighting Division brings a new outlook on the world of lighting – combining design, manufacture, installation and after-care to form an all encompassing service tailored to your needs.
Roskill Information Services (United Kingdom)
Roskill Information Services is a worldwide provider of information on international metals and minerals markets. For almost 40 years the company has produced highly detailed, independently researched market information reports and databooks for corporate clients around the world. The Roskill site features an e-Commerce system that allows shopping in one of 3 currencies (GBP, EUR and USD which can be switched at any time). Customers can purchase whole reports (in paper or electronic format) or a selection of chapters from any number of reports. Once the customer has placed their order (managed through a web-based back-office system) they can download the electronic reports for a period of 72 hours. The site also offers "teaser" information to entice customers to register. All reports are fully text-indexed and a potential customer can search the entire body text of some 100+ detailed documents. The web site consists of an internal Plone based document management system, containing over 60,000 pdf documents, that feeds data to a Zope 3 based public website.
Schlumberger - Faculty for the Future (United Kingdom)
Founded in 1927, Schlumberger is now one of the leading oilfield services providers in the world. Operating in around 80 countries, and employing over 80,000 people, Schlumberger recorded operating revenue in excess of $23 Billion (for FY07). The Faculty for the Future portal has been designed to provide a community of female professionals from 25 countries (generally in emerging economies) a means to communicate effectively online via a simple yet powerful user-driven web portal, with many functions familiar to users of the various popular social networking sites. The site uses the Plone content management system to provide its core functionality whilst Netsight developed a number of custom extensions to create the full suite of features requested by the client.
TCSJohnHuxley (United Kingdom)
TCS Group is worldwide supplier of casino equipment. From offices in 10 countries TCS provide a complete and unique range of table games products and technical equipment. Established for nearly 20 years TCS Group has developed a portfolio of unique casino gaming products, and retains one of the largest research and development teams in the gaming industry. The website is now in its second phase of development after TCS Group's acquisition of John Huxley Group, and subsequent merger to form TCSJohnHuxley. Key to the success of the system is the ability to maintain core product data and fact sheets in multiple languages within a central management system, and then distribute and re-brand this information online for different markets around the world. Crucially, the system tracks changes made between different language versions of product information to ensure that updates do not get out of sync. The site consists of a Plone based extranet feeding product data to a public facing Zope website.
Uniq (United Kingdom)
Uniq is a European chilled convenience food group enjoying many market-leading positions, selling products in 12 countries as a major supplier to leading supermarket groups on a branded and customer own-label basis. Employing almost 7000 people in operations across Europe, the group recorded a turnover of over £700 Million for FY 2006. Uniq approached Netsight to design and build a new corporate website, aimed primarily at their corporate partners and investors. Uniq had already selected Plone as the platform for their corporate intranet, and wanted to integrate the public website with the intranet as closely as possible.
Warwickshire Against Domestic Abuse (United Kingdom)
A Plone 3 CMS site for information on fighting domestic abuse for Warwickshire and surrounding counties. The aim of Warwickshire Against Domestic Abuse is to tackle domestic abuse by increasing the information and support available to victims, their friends and family, young people and to abusers.
Warwickshire Police - Public Website (United Kingdom)
