ILRT is based at the University of Bristol and provides advice, consultancy, design, implementation, training and site hosting for Internet-related projects.

The Internet Development (ID) group at the Institute for Learning and Research Technology (ILRT) was established in 1996 and provides advice, consultancy, design, implementation, training and site hosting for Internet-related projects. Our work ranges from simple Web page design and implementation to complex, database-driven Web sites and the development of online survey tools, managed learning environments, elearning tools and content management systems.

We deliver a high-quality professional service that generates repeat business and word of mouth recommendations. In the last 18 months we have worked on 35+ projects for clients within the University of Bristol, the academic community and other public bodies in the UK and as part of European consortia.

A large part of our development expertise is in Open-source tools such as Zope, Plone, PHP, Perl, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Apache and Linux. We also have in-depth skills in Java, Oracle, ColdFusion, ASP and other languages and tools
