We deliver powerful web publishing and customer relationship management tools leveraging both Open Source and best-of-breed hosted technologies.

We focus on using Plone as a hub for communications processes and integrate the CMS with best-of-breed tools to enhance relationship management, including Salesforce.com and Salsa.

We help our clients turn their web site into the hub for integrated communications including social networks and multimedia.
History of the company
ifPeople is a woman-owned company was founded in 2002 by Tirza Hollenhorst and Christopher Johnson while in Argentina. In 2004, operations were relocated to the US, and ifPeople created a partnership model called FairSource, which is the basis for relationships with software programmers in Argentina and Chile. The company has maintained profitability while growing its Atlanta office and its network of FairSource suppliers to meet the growth in demand for software services.

- This site was created to manage sales, shipping and inventory of products that are sent out around the world using the GetPaid product for Plone. It integrates with UPS shipping, handles user registration, offers free and paid products, and generates all the reports needed to keep the business running efficiently.
- Agora Partnerships (United States )
- An innovative organization that is fostering entrepreneurship in Central America turned to ifPeople to launch a bilingual web site that provides a great presentation of the organization. The site also includes integrated mapping of clients, featured success stories, and dynamic content.
- Business Alliance for Local Living Economies (BALLE)
- BALLE is an international alliance of 37 independently operated local business networks with more than 12,000 members dedicated to building Local Living Economies. BALLE uses Plone with over a dozens of its networks to connect, collaborate and promote local economies.
- Center for Community Change (United States )
- The Center for Community Change designed theie new web site as a way to foster the progressive movement's vision formation, sharing of information and the CCC staff's ease of use of a content management system. The site includes user-generated content - from multimedia to reference documents - a blog, resource library, multimedia and much more. The site also integrates with Salesforce.com for relationship management and Democracy In Action (DIA) for advocacy functionality.
- Computer Professionals for Social Responsibility (United States )
- CPSR is a global organization promoting the responsible use of computer technology. Founded in 1981, CPSR educates policymakers and the public on a wide range of issues. CPSR has incubated numerous projects such as Privaterra, the Public Sphere Project, EPIC (the Electronic Privacy Information Center), the 21st Century Project, the Civil Society Project, and the CFP (Computers, Freedom & Privacy) Conference. Originally founded by U.S. computer scientists, CPSR now has members in 26 countries on six continents.
- Digital Opportunity Trust (Canada)
- Digital Opportunity Trust (DOT) is a rapidly growing international development organization that is using technology to empower people in developing countries and create sustainable entrepreneurial opportunities. DOT worked with ifPeople to create a custom Plone-based collaboration portal that organized all the work of its network of interns, teachers, and partners into a project management system. The portal also provides support, enables information sharing, and keeps donors up dated about the organization's world-changing work.

- Food Economy Group (FEG) Consulting has been on the leading edge of livelihoods-based food security information systems, policy analysis and complex-process facilitation services for over ten years. ifPeople built a site with a modern look and easy to use content management tools to make the site easily maintainable, helping FEG tell its compelling story and promoting its work.
- Investors Circle (United States )
- Investors Circle is a network of angle investors seeking sustainable business opportunities, which partnered with ifPeople to redevelop its web site on the Plone platform. ifPeople created a custom business plan application process and a member profile and directory area. The site also integrates the payment product GetPaid to enable entrepreneurs to pay application fees directly on the site.

For over 25 years, LTA has worked in the field, and now has a new web site that provides a professional and attractive image, integrates new dynamic features, integrates authentication with its other member systems, and makes content management easy for staff.
- Mifos (United States )
- Mifos is an industry-wide initiative to address the microfinance industry's information management challenge. Using the open source paradigm, we are creating a new service model that will increase access to technology for all microfinance institutions, ultimately enabling them to extend their reach to the world’s poor. Plone will serve as a powerful CMS platform to help our growing Mifos community of microfinance institutions, IT professionals, and open-source developers connect, interact, and collaborate to realize the full potential of the Mifos software.
- Natural Awakenings (United States )
- Natural Awakenings is a franchise publishing company operating in over 30 cities around the US. The company uses Plone to publish its content online to complement its free paper publication. They also offer each franchisee the ability to create their own site within the corporate site, leveraging RSS feeds that make content updating easier. The site enables the traditionally print-only magazines to build an online community, calendar, and advertising.
- Red Puentes
- Red Puentes is an international network promoting Corporate Social Responsibility in Latin America. ifPeople has served as the technology partner during the evolution of the site over four years. The site includes multi-lingual content, a private members area, distributed editor rights, and a regular news feed. Each country in the network has its own section of the site and can designate editors who contribute content. The site contains content in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
- Self Help (United States )
- Self-Help is a community development lender and real estate developer that works with qualified individuals, organizations and communities traditionally underserved by conventional markets. The web site provides a public information portal for SelfHelp and its many programs. It also channels communications and provides up-to-date rate information.
- Trees for Life (United States )
- Trees for Life has planted over 30 million trees and in evolving its organization, looked to ifPeople to provide integrated technology solutions for content management, commerce/donations (using GetPaid), and relationship management (Salesforce.com). ifPeople has created a new design, implemented it with Plone, and integrated the GetPaid payment processing product to facilitate donations through the web site.
- US Climate Action Network (United States )
- The US Climate Action Network (USCAN) was established to provide a forum for joint strategy development and advocacy to affect change in a coordinated way at the United Nations and in Washington, DC. USCAN includes nearly 60 advocacy organizations from across the country, facilitating collaboration on common strategies at the state, regional, federal and international levels. USCAN contracted ifPeople to relaunch its web site to include new features, a new version of the content management system, and increased usability for its members with a fresh design.
