catWorkX is a full service Zope/Plone provider in Germany, located in Hamburg. With a staff of about 6 Zope / Plone developers we are implementing Zope / Plone solutions for well-know customers like Sharp, Panasonic, Sony, Philips, AOL, Hamburger Hochbahn, Berentzen, Kiel Institute for World Economic, USA Rice Fedaration, etc. since 2000.

The focus of our developing activities is not only on content management but also on workflow management built on top of Zope. So we have implemented a repair and pickup service as a Zope / Plone based ASP-Service which is integrated into websites of our customers Blaupunkt, Sony or Philips.

Economics eJournal (Germany )
Based on Plone catWorkX developed an eJournal of economics for the Kiel Institute for the World Economy. economics will be a journal, capturing the advantages of some highly successful natural science journals. It adopts an open source approach to publication, viewing research as a cooperative enterprise between authors, editors, referees and reader. Main features are: a specific review process for discussion papers becoming an official journal article, download counter for papers, time and status-dependend commenting and rating functionality. etc.
HAN-Online: Newspaper with premium content (Germany )
For a publisher of a local newspaper in Hamburg the "Harburger Anzeigen und Nachrichten" we have implemented a Online-Portal which gathers its content directly from the proprietary production system for the print edition. The only thing the editor in chief has to do is to decide which article should become the front-page story, leading category story and which articles should stay hidden as premium content for registered users.

Panasonic FAQ-System (Germany )
For Panasonic in Germany catWorkX has implemented a self-service FAQ-solution based on Plone with a flexible rights management enabling the FAQ editor to determine different approval levels for a FAQ. The FAQ-system is integrated into the panasonic.de website and has a back-end integration with a call and issue tracking system.
Sharp e-Service-Portal (Germany )
Portal for registered Sharp dealers of Consumer Electronics which enables them to access service informations on Sharp products and to initiate servie procedures like ordering spare parts, RMA requests in warranty cases etc. The Portal is used by more than 3000 dealers in Germany and Austria. A European roll-out is planned.
USARice (Germany )
Websites of the USA Rice Federation multilingual in 6 languages. German, English und French online, Turkish, Arabic, Russian coming soon
linie.de (Germany )
Brand site of the famous Norwegian Premium Aquavit, multilingual in English and German with a shop functionality integrated.
safedor: design, operation and regulation (Germany )
By order of Germanischer Lloyd catWorkX has implemented an extranet for the european research project safedor foccussing on risk based ship design and approval. Participants are 53 organisations representing all stakeholders of maritime industry.
