BNY is an ‘evolutionary’ image house and design company that was founded by Creative Director Alex Wiederin in the year 2001.

Although many of our projects are in editorial, advertising, website and packaging design, we are open to expanding our horizons, and are excited when faced with new ideas and challenges within the design industry. Effective communication is the basis for everything we do, from our work to its outcome. The close relationship and creative dialogue we cultivate with our clients guide us, and have helped to define the recognizable Buero New York style. While every project we do is totally unique, they all enjoy that indicative Buero New York signature in terms of style and design. So far, this signature has proven to be promising. To date we have worked with Dolce and Gabbana, Helmut Lang, Nina Ricci, Carolina Herera, Jill Stuart, Big Magazine, Lauren Hutton, Max Mara group, Sonia Rykiel, Versace, Cartier, Baume and Mercier among many others. Over the years we have worked closely with respected photographers such as Richard Burbridge, Cedric Buchet, Craig McDean, Sante D’Orazio, Alexei Hay, Nick Knight, Inez von Lamsveerde and Vinoodh Matadin, Annie Leibovitz, Terry Richardson, David Sims, Mario Sorrenti and Solve Sundsbo. We are also advocates of new, up-and-coming talent, through whom we explore fresh perspectives. Our concepts communicate through visual aesthetics, proving their individual exellence by fulfilling their purpose and achieving the results the client expects. …That’s the plan, and so far, so good.
