Bika combines web content management and workflow processing for a one-stop web-based LIMS. Bika is an open source solution, there is no vendor lock-in and the LIMS can be extended and tailored to exact requirement. Robust and proven FOSS industry-standard platforms reduce the cost of LIMS ownership.

Bika systems are assembled from standard and optional functional modules, then customised to specific individual lab requirements. Bika branches provide solutions enhanced for recognised laboratory disciplines.

Bika's LIMSs are available as both on-site servers or hosted service provision at a fraction of the cost normally associated with LIMS acquisition.

The aim of the South African Society for Enology & Viticulture is to serve as a forum for making the latest relevant scientific knowledge available to all South African wine and grape producers; optimizing the quality of S.A. grapes, wines and related products constantly and distributing this technology internationally.

South African Wine Lab Association (South Africa)

SAWLA member labs statistically compare analysis results for wines sampled from the same tanks on a regular basis as proficiency test and performance tracker. The web based Interlab LIMS (laboratory information management system), key statistical parameters, distribution and performance graphs are available immediately after results are submitted.
