Deployed Sites

Ad Reactor from Incisive Media (United Kingdom)
Incisive Media wanted a web application allowing their readers and browsers to rate their online ads for a monthly prize Beetlebrow produced a web site using Plone which both fits with their large stable of web sites, and at the same time has a distinctive look and feel. The site manages to retain many corporate elements, while adding a touch of fun.
Brighton Art Fair (United Kingdom)
Brighton Art Fair is a major annual event in the arts calendar of the UK South Coast providing an opportunity for the public to buy art from the best local and national artists and for artists to sell direct to the public, to make contacts and to build a relationship with buyers and potential buyers. Plone allows artist to register their application and creates a gallery slideshow of their work automatically.

A simple elegant site developed using Plone CMS technology that allows Excalibur to easily keep it up to date themselves and publish what their customers are doing.
Holland Park School (United Kingdom)
The web site has a complete Content Management System implemented via a Plone Management Portal and makes use of flash within a minimal stylish design. An additional web application extends the site's funcitonality providing an alumni registration database. This allows ex-students to register, login and volunteer their support to help sudents in the career decision-making. Recently further web development has been completed on a multi-media project supporting the BBC's School Report initiative. Studentscan gain experience in news and media experience by creating their own video/audio podcasts and news reports which are aggregated to a media rich news home page.
Kevin Osmond (United Kingdom)
Kevin Osmond is widely established in the art world and commissioned Beetlebrow to explore new ways of presenting his work online which we did using Plone to allow Kevin to have control over his content and the way that his portfolio is presented.
MADE - Brighton Arts and Crafts Fair (United Kingdom)
MADE10 - Brighton's Design and Craft Fair is set in the beautiful Brighton Corn Exchange offering the public the opportunity to buy original and exceptional design and craft from the best local and national makers. Beetlebrow used Plone to build a Content Managed web site that enables artists and degners to apply for stands and creates product showcase galleries on the fly.
Moving Office (United Kingdom)
Our brief was to create a clear and easy-to-navigate site, which incorporated a three-step, traffic light "ready - set - go!" approach to the process of office relocation. We had to build a new listings product to go with the existing content management system, so that companies providing relevant services (estate agents, solicitors, removals and office design and fit-out) are listed by geographical area. The listings come with a built-in search mechanism so users can find the listings for their area either via a drop down post-town selector, or via an interactive, clickable map. As well as the listings mechanism, the site comes with an email newsletter mailer and a nice floor space calculator to help you work out how much office you're going to need. All done with Plone 3.
NHS Networks (United Kingdom)
This new concept in group networking gives incredible power and flexibility to NHS network administrators. NHS Networks required a site which would allow individual networks within the NHS (a network is a formal or informal grouping of NHS staff outside the structures provided by the NHS) to create and manage their own web site within the top level NHS Networks framework. Beetlebrow saw this as a perfect fit for Zope and Plone and have produced an immensely powerful platform using this technology that allows adminstrators of a network to create a web site in three minutes and will save each network from the costs associated with having their own site developed and hosted.
Palace Art Fair (United Kingdom)
From the team behind the Brighton Art Fair comes a brand new art event in the UK capital, The Palace Art Fair to be held at Fulham Palace, London. This is a high quality art event in London providing a smaller scale more intimate show in contrast to some of London’s vast art events. Beetlebrow used Plone to create a website that showcases the artists' exhibits and enables registration of the artists for the event.
Richard Max Property Law (United Kingdom)
Plone content management system web design for this London based firm of specialist planning law solicitors. Planning information and regulations are constantly changing so it was imperative to Richard Max to deploy a web site with an easy to use CMS that can be used in-house to ensure the accuracy of the detailed planning information aimed at property owners, developers, lawyers and local authorities, ensuring its is always up-to-date.

As well as alcohol production, they have diversified into agriculture for grain production as well as innovative property development. The site is deployed using the Plone content management system that allows content to be managed in both English and Russian using a dedicated management portal. Multiple language support as well as ease of use and scalability were the main reasons behind SPI's decision to use a Beetlebrow Plone solution.
Salisbury Diocesan Board of Education (United Kingdom)
A portal-style web site design developed using the Plone CMS for the Salisbury Diocesan Board of Education. The web design includes a composite portal home page that aggregates information and images from different parts of the web site including news stories, bulletins and gallery images. The website for SALED provides all sorts of information about its parishes, church schools and youth work. Web applications extend the web site by providing a schools directory using a powerful search and map interface and a resources facility that allows multi-tiered resource files to be associated with any page.
Sharpe Pritchard Solicitors (United Kingdom)
A corporate Plone CMS controlled web site for this leading firm of City solicitors. Beetlebrow has upgraded and redesigned their old web site so that it now benefits from using the Plone Content Management System to future proof it and make maintenance so much easier. Siefers Harrison Chartered Surveyors (United Kingdom)
This website uses the Plone 3 content management system using inline editing to change text and images and has a classic corporate brochure style web design. Siefers Harrison is an independent firm of Chartered Surveyors who provide residential and commercial surveying services to private and corporate clients throughout London and the Home Counties.
Susan McFarlane (United Kingdom)
Susan's family portraits are a beautiful way to capture childhood and family life forever. Her sporting images and still life paintings are also distinctive and truly lovely. They wanted a site which reflects their attention to detail and their willingness to do more to make their garden centre sales displays looks great. They focus on helping garden centres to sell their items, and we've focused on giving them a site that's unique, like the name, without being over-designed or fussy. Plone was used to create the web site with a dynamic brochure of their products. They very pleased with the look and feel of the site, with its extensive catalogue, slide shows and zoomable (fancy zoom) images.
Weymouth Angling Centre (United Kingdom)
Weymouth Angling Centre required a web site that promotes them as the South Coast's premier fishing tackle supplier making it easier for existing customers to shop again as well as finding more customers from further afield. An ecommerce system built using Plone provides a dynamic mini shopping basket on each page and an easy to use ordering facility, which together with a powerful search facility and a well thought out bespoke web design allows angling products to be easily found and purchased.
