UEMR - Ultimate Electronic Medical Record

Introducing Ultimate EMR.
Sophisticated. Easy. Affordable.

The paperless medical office is quickly becoming the future. While no one thinks that a medical practice will be completely paperless any time soon, the core and daily routines in a practice are rapidly becoming electronic. Ultimate EMR helps the small practice physician crossover to an electronic environment with sophistication, ease and affordability.

Problem:

Since the 2003 HIPAA deadline in the US, Solo and Partner practices have been the least likely to use EMR's. Compromising about two-thirds of US medical practices only 4.4% of Solo physicians have adopted a full EMR followed by 6% of Partner practices, and 10.2% of practices with 3-5 physicians.* This problem does not only pertain to the US, the Electronic Medical Record is a top priority in the US, EU, UK, AUS and many other countries.  The root of the lack of adoption is vast but centers on afford ability, ease of use, and standards.

Solution:

The content management Plone technology has been selected as the framework to build the solution, i.e., a Plone-based product for the web (internet and intranets). The product is called "Ultimate EMR", a Core Electronic Medical Record because we have built to be a simple to use EMR that is rich in features and can be combined with many other products and tools. The robust and intuitive design inherited from Plone's look and feel makes the product unique.

Ultimate EMR solves the problem by providing small medical practices a sophisticated, affordable, and easy to use EMR that can grow and adapt to changes in the healthcare industry.

Including features like: Scheduling, Instant Interoffice Messaging, Encounters, Prescriptions, Health Maintenance, Transcription, Templates, Patient Portal, Progress Notes, Consultations, Chart Summaries and more.

Add-on Products used: Multifile, PloneIM, PasswordField, UserTrack, ATExtensions, CMFUserTrackTool.
