Core Net Solutions were selected to develop an application for business data collection for one of the biggest and oldest breweries in Europe.

Core Net Solutions was asked to develop a SafeShare-based application for business data-collection.

The application is based on Zope Application Server and Plone CMS with various self-developed extensions and optimisations (calling the whole bundle a "SafeShare Server").

Every single representative of KPK can access the internal company database from his handheld computer and retrieve/enter key information about his customers and their orders. All the information are transferred in real-time from/to SAP R3 ERP system. This Zope/Plone (SafeShare installation is used as a communication gateway with added internal company portal functionality.

We've used file system storage to store all documents to improve speed and reliability and to free the ZODB database of unnecessary traffic that can slow down the whole system.
