Excerpt

Out of the CMSs compared, Plone and WordPress scored the most “excellent” ratings at seven out of twelve. Plone is distinguished by its outstanding security and scalability, functionalities for users and workflow, where Plone outdid all the competitors.

Other areas of strength for Plone are graphical flexibility, structural flexibility, ease of use, security, community strength, integration, and work flow. According to the report, Plone proved itself as a powerful CMS ideal for organizations with complex data management needs. Because Plone’s tools and interface are user-friendly, it’s easy for not-so-tech-savvy administrators to update content such as articles, links, pictures and video.
